I purchased this Campo from an antiques dealer who lives near the Houston area. I was actually contacting him about a few large Nantan’s he had for sale online. Keep in mind this person has a strong Israeli accent and the long beard to boot and seemed honest as the day is long. He said he had another meteorite that he purchased on one of his trips to Maui, Hawaii. He would take his family to Maui for two weeks over Christmas every year. He and his son were driving up in the mountains and stumbled on an estate sale. He said the estate sale was being run by a Swedish gentleman by the name of Karl Goldberg or Goldburgh(not sure of the spelling). He thought I might be able to Google & find him online. Here is where the story becomes a story because the estate sale was from the home of Sir Paul McCartney. He said this Campo was on a stand but Karl wanted $250.00 for the stand so he did not buy it. He did not say how long ago this transaction took place but he had this Campo sitting in his storage for many years. I tried to get more of the story but with the accent this is all I could understand. So we agreed to meet in a neutral area parking lot so I could see his specimens and this is the only one worth buying. I have googled many different things and cannot find where Paul McCartney ever owned a home in Maui.
